As a trainer and coach, I essentially do 2 things,

1. Train people in organisations on how to be more emotionally intelligent and mindful in                order to build a productive, collaborative and peaceful culture.

2. Coach individuals on how to get unstuck, remove unnecessary emotional baggage, gain                HEAPS more confidence and live with clarity and joy.

Clients choose me because of my background as an educator, which means I understand pedagogy and learning design in order to deliver programs that are structured, engaging, learner focused and impactful.

Here is a little more about me…

Background in Training and Speaking

Since 2004 I have trained hundreds of people from many countries, in a variety of contexts (universities, schools, businesses, conferences and volunteer etc). I was a lecturer in Events Management at the Institute of Technical Education in Singapore. In Australia, I was a trainer in the Australian College of Applied Education for students doing their diploma in hospitality. Since school, I was used to being an emcee at events and was in the debate club. This carried on even in my career in the events management industry where I have emceed numerous events from weddings, pageants, corporate events and more. I have a Bachelor in Commerce from my younger life, a Diploma in Adult Continuing Education, a pedagogy certification in technical education, as well as certification in training and assessment.

Background in Emotional intelligence

I have a variety of experience in this area, both formal and informal. As a lifelong learner, I’ve gathered a list of formal certifications as a Master Life Coach, Behavioural Analyst, Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile Practitioner, NLP master practitioner and train the trainer. I have organised and attended countless workshops, retreats, seminars and personal development courses relating to emotional intelligence. Informally, I have been an avid volunteer for over 22 years and have worked extensively with Non-Profit-Organisations in Australia and regionally on various community projects in relation to mental health and emotional well-being.

Background in Mindfulness

My interest in Mindfulness and related practices goes back nearly 20 years. I’ve studied and practiced widely in both eastern and western views on the topic, particularly how it relates to emotional intelligence. As a certified life coach, educator and trainer, I have trained hundreds of people in my career. I have organised and run countless self-empowerment programs both professionally and voluntarily for diverse audiences and have always included mindfulness as a key component. Recently, to further my learning in mindful movement, I became certified as a yoga instructor.

My background in life

I absolutely love my life now, but like anyone, I have had darker times too. I have lost loved ones to tragic deaths, suffered physical violence, chronic pain and emotional abuse in the past. The things that have most helped me through these times are my mindfulness and the emotional intelligence practices which go hand in hand in achieving greater clarity and motivation in life.

These practices help me continue to experience a positivity and joy that sometimes surprises even myself! I truly feel that all my experiences help me connect with the people and organisations that I work with.
