Your Facilitators
Meet Hayley and Usha! We are your passionate facilitators for this retreat and love all things yoga and wellness. With Hayley’s expertise in fitness and nutrition, combined with Usha’s expertise in mindset and coaching, you are in store for an amazing retreat. We are both certified yoga teachers and have planned a joyful, educational and engaging program for you at this retreat. Here is a little more about each of us below.
Hayley Beckett is the passionate Founder and Director of Abson Fitness, a boutique personal training studio located in Caversham with prior locations in Ascot, Maida Vale and Ellenbrook. Known for her warm, inclusive approach and unwavering dedication, she’s more than a fitness leader—she’s a mentor, coach, and a builder of resilient, supportive communities with a down-to-earth attitude and infectious zest for life.
From Struggle to Strength
Hayley’s own journey began with frustration—years of effort with little progress. With professional coaching, she shed 30 kg, transforming not just her body but her confidence. That experience lit a fire to support others in achieving real, lasting change.
The Abson Approach
Abson Fitness is a supportive community where personal coaching meets connection. The Abson Method is a holistic fusion of resistance training, nutritional guidance, and accountability woven into engaging and fun one-on-one sessions. This thoughtful approach helps clients not just lose weight—but reclaim energy, confidence, and joy.
Training with Heart
Hayley has a memorable tagline: “Train less, Eat more”—and she lives it. Her philosophy combines smart strategy, practical goal-setting, and plenty of encouragement along the way. Whether she’s leading a workshop, a one-on-one session, or a grounded yoga class, she brings authenticity, joy, and real-world wisdom.
Mission
Hayley’s mission is clear: to build stronger bodies—and stronger spirits—one step, one rep, one ab at a time. Her story is one of resilience and empathy, and her clients consistently describe feeling seen, supported, and powerful.
Usha Raman is the Founder of Nexus Training Group, a Perth-based coaching and training company specialising in life coaching, professional coaching, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence. Known for her dynamic presence, warm authenticity, and deep understanding of human behaviour, Usha is a catalyst for transformation, helping individuals and teams work, lead, and live with balance, greater purpose and presence.
From Burnout to Balance
Usha’s journey began in the corporate fast lane of the events industry—successful on the outside but running on empty within. It was only when she discovered Neuro Linguistic Programming and mindfulness that everything shifted. Through self-awareness and intentional growth, she rebuilt her life around clarity, calm, and meaningful success. That experience inspired her mission: to help others move from “busy to balanced,” aligning who they are with how they lead and live.
The Nexus Approach
Nexus brings science and soul together. Through tools like the IDENTI3 personality profiling system, mindfulness-based workshops, and evidence-based coaching, Usha creates experiences that are as practical as they are powerful. Whether facilitating retreats, coaching or training, her approach is grounded in science, empathy, and connection—helping people create lasting shifts for a positive and happy future.
Teaching with Presence
Clients describe Usha’s sessions as “energising and deeply insightful.” She blends deep wisdom with humour and storytelling, making complex concepts simple and relatable. From mining sites to coaching rooms, she empowers people to lead their lives with emotional intelligence and awareness—reminding them that balance begins within.
Mission
Usha’s mission is simple: Empower people to feel seen, heard, understood and loved. Her work reflects a lifelong passion for unlocking human potential and creating ripples of positive change—one conversation, one breath, one breakthrough at a time.
Accommodation
Premalaya is set on a graceful 6 acre block, here you can surrender and fully immerse yourself in the beauty and energy that surrounds. The local area is sacred to the original owners of the land, the ‘Noongar’ people, who have lived in the south-west of Western Australia for more than 45,000 years. At Premalaya, they have a deep respect for mother nature and the land that we reside upon and acknowledge the Wardandi people as traditional owners of this land.
Located in Yallingup which is the aboriginal name for ‘A Place of Love’ and Premalaya means ‘Place Of Love’ in Sanskrit. Fall asleep to the sound of frogs & crickets and wake to the sound of native Western Australian birds before you open your windows and doors to the cleansing indian ocean breeze.
The venue has apartments with various types of rooms with single, double, queen or king beds. Once you make your booking, we will allocate the apartments based on the number of attendees. Please note that the apartments will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
